Berawal dari free dvd dari infolinux edisi terbaru yang melampirkan 2 kepings dvd , yakni mandriva dan opensuse 10.3,
Akhirnya saya coba untuk install di notebook saya, toshiba A100 …
Alhasil, syukur alhamdulillah ternyata dukungan hardware sangatlah bagoessss… kecuali beberapa dan pastinya sudah terkenal, yakni untuk kartu grafis ATI yang terkenal installasi paling ribet…hueueueue, tapi keribetan itu memang asyik buat ngisi waktu di malam minggu.. weleh, emang malem minggu gak ngapel yah sayah…hihihihihi.
Dengan ini sayah melaporkan hasil installasi nya.

yah, untuk sementara hal itu yang paling pentings, karena selain harus bisa konek internet, biar kalo ada apa apa mbah googling bisa bantuin saya, dan multimedia bisa jalans, hihihihihi. oh ya, untuk grafis card dilakukan installasi manual, ada tutorial yang bagus di link berikut dan hasilnya opensuse 10.3 bisa menampilkan resolusi dengan benars, yakni resolusi 1280×800

Di HP 520 juga Ok punya. Most of hardware work out of the box.
Termasuk Wirelessnya yang Broadcom. Cuman untuk modem gak kedetek.

hmm, complete nya apa? driver nya download dari apa?
biasanya kalo udah download driver nya ada README / INSTALL yang bisa dibaca dan jg berisi panduan, normalnya kalo bentuk source ya tinggal
./configure&&make&&makeinstall aja.. tentu saja requirements nya harus dipenuhin dulu…

masalah mas heri dengan masalah saya sama, saya instal openSUSE di laptop Toshiba A135, soundnya bisu. Soundcard saya Intel ICH7, openSUSE udah ngenalin tapi sama sekali ga ada suara yang keluar… bisa bantu mas??? Pleaseeeee
