Coba backup xorg.conf, terus copy /etc/X11/xorg.conf.install jadi
/etc/X11/xorg.conf. Ini maksudnya ngebalikin ke driver vesa dulu,
mudah-mudahan bisa masuk init 5 dan login ke x.

Ngeganti gpu dari ATI ke VIA artinya anda juga harus mengganti driver.
Coba install ulang drivernya, setelah itu sebagai root coba jalankan
'sax2 -r' sebagai root. Setelah itu akan terbentuk xorg.conf baru.
Tolong dilampirkan yang baru, juga hasil 'hwinfo --gfxcard'

Apakah sudah dicoba masuk ke runlevel 3 lalu jalankan sax atau sax -r?
Kalau ganti mainboard, dan pakai VGA card onboard, ya biasanya memang mesti
dikonfigurasi ulang dengan cara menjalankan sax.

Tanya sono tanya sini katanya suruh ganti Driver Vga nya, oke ane ikutin ganti drivernya tapi tetep init 5 ga jalan (I'm stack on bash without GUI at all), katanya lagi suruh edit xorg.conf juga, oke ane nurut ane edit tapi tetep ga berfungsi juga. . . . . menurut ente para expert ada ga solusi buat masalah ane ini tanpa install ulang . . .

kalo nggak salah dia nyari File menu.lst pd partisi ini n hasilya file not exists..! kurang lebih begitu.
setengah prustasi ane coba langkah nyang laen ya ntu masukin syntax ni:
grub>chainloader(hd0,1)+1
abis ntu
quit
shutdown -r now
hasilnya GRUB nggak nongol malah dia langsung ke bootloader Window$ (dengan kata laen ane kagak bisa masuk ke OpenSuse malah cuma Window$ doangan), Berhubung DVD OpenSuse ane Error jadi langkah diatas ane tempuh

Pertanyaannya :
1.Apa cara nyang ane gunain udah bener?
2.Gimana cara balikin GRUB ke defaultnya lagi?
3.Apa susunan partisi ane salah?
