q orang yg baru kenal linux. q pake dual OS (win Xp dan OpenSUSE). awalnya jalan dengan normal. tp kemaerin kompiku g’ bisa masuk OS. pas booting awal muncul komentar GRUB error. gimana cara mbetulin nya?

Error code-nya apa?
Coba cek ke: http://www.uruk.org/orig-grub/errors.html
supaya jelas masalahnya.

Kalau ingin langsung install ulang grubnya:
1. Boot dari DVD instalasi, pilih ‘Installation’.
2. Di ‘Installation method’, pilih ‘Other’, terus pilih option ‘Boot installed’.
3. OS bakal di boot.
4. Buka Yast -> System -> Boot Loader.
5. Di tab ‘Boot Loader Installation’ pastikan option ‘Boot from Master Boot Record’ satu2nya yang dicentang. Klik Finish.

Cara diatas bakal nulis ulang GRUB buat disimpan di MBR harddisk. Pastikan juga entri2 OS nya sudah tepat di tab yang sebelumnya.
